A trip into Manchester - 16th July 2002
I meet up with my friend, Christian in Manchester, I think this is the day we went to the John Dalton building with Nucleus (Jason Holden), I’m not sure. These images were among the first photos I took in Manchester and were before I got a digital camera.
The photos were originally intended to be posted on my old websites hellwrath.ubersource.net and hellwrath.co.uk.
Cathedral Gardens, Manchester.

Me in Cathedral Gardens, Manchester. Wearing my H2K hat, my Cyberdog T-Shirt, combat pants and a fleece. This was before I started wearing my trademark jeans, T-Shirt and hoodie. I like to think I dress a bit better these days.

The big red button, Afflecks Palace, Church Street, Manchester. If you pressed the button you'd be squirted with water.
Christian pressed the button outside Afflecks Palace. He got a bit wet.
Withy Grove, Manchester. The famous Withy Grove Stores shop that has been locked in a time-warp can be seen, it still exists in 2019 with the same stock in the window. The Arndale Book & Magazine Exchange can also be seen, a fine purveyor of smut, jazz mags, grumble books and pornographic literature. The Swan with Two Necks pub is further up from here.
Very dark picture of the Arndale Centre, Manchester. Is that a person in the photo? A statue? A cardboard cut-out? No idea.
Corporation Street from the Arndale Centre bridge, Manchester. This was the epicentre of the 1996 bomb. Exchange Square, Urbis and the Printworks can be seen in the background.
Plaque from the opening of Central Library, St Peters Square, Manchester.
MMU John Dalton building, Oxford Road, Manchester. My old university.
GMP police van, Lower Mosley St, Manchester.
Me talking on my Nokia 7110 phone while riding the Metrolink.
On the Metrolink.
Hulme Locks bridge from the Metrolink.
Back at home at 116, Northenden Road. I decided to take a photo of my beloved Red Dwarf VHS collection.
My Magic Roundabout helmet. I was mad into motorbikes at this time, I rode an Aprilia RS 125, I loved riding far out into Cheshire, sometimes as far as Macclesfield. Maybe one day I'll ride again.
My old bedroom, 116 Northenden Road, Sale. I had all kinds of flags and posters on my walls to cover the childish paint job. You can make out my 56.6k modem on top of my PC, this was before we got BT ADSL.
