10 Components You Should NEVER Use in a Product | Predictable Designs with John Teel | 11:09

Ten components you should never use in an electronic product. I use several of these, but then again I’m not planning on selling any of my projects, I think this channel is more aimed at product designers rather than tinkerers. I’m going to carry on using barrel jacks, micro-USB, ATMEGAs and through-hole components.

Fine, I’ll put Arch on a ThinkPad | foci | 12:56

A guy installs ‘the final boss of Linux’ on his laptop. I will be doing this one day as soon as I get a new laptop. I think I will record it for my new channel that I haven’t yet made.

9 London Plaques Packed With Errors | Robslondon | 22:09

A video about London plaques but with errors, I like this guy’s videos about London, although not really a fan of the city in general. I don’t know, maybe I’d go one day in the future when it’s been cleaned up, I’d like to go on a photo tour in summer.

20 Famous Words & Phrases Born in London | Robslondon | 21:39

Some famous phrases originating from London. The one about tips is almost certainly not true, for a start it’s ‘Ensure’, not ‘Insure’ and acronyms weren’t used generally until the 20th century.

Beyond UART: How to Send Data Over Long Cables Using RS485 | Playduino | 21:23

Did the Real Robin Hood Rob the Rich to Give to the Poor? | Robin Hood | 9:04

Just discovered this guy’s brilliant channel, he does a lot of shorts. I don’t like he’s using those annoying gothic Unicode characters in his channel name which makes it hard to read. Anyway, his whole thing is doing videos about Robin Hood, he’s a good shot with a bow too. Perfect example of choosing a niche and going with it!

BRITAIN In 1990 | a new DECADE, a new BEGINNING | Retro Rollback | 11:24

Anyone remember Spangles? No me, neither. Just kidding, I really like this guy’s channel all about the UK in previous decades, really well done videos and no AI used which is a bonus. I sometimes miss the 90s, but not enough to go back. I like being sat in my room in front of a fast PC with a fibre internet connection.

I am f** done with Windows 11 F microschlop | marvin muhring | 9:39

A Dutch guy has problems with his Windows PC, I’ve only ever seen a desk PC like that on Linus Tech Tips. I also feel really sorry for the guy, he’s severely dyslexic, I can’t imagine what that must be like, especially reading a foreign language. Always good to see Dutch YouTubers, I am definitely travelling there one day!

Video about the coronation ritual through history, big fan of Lindsay’s channel.

Quite like these posho, artsy-fartsy style vlog videos, always nice to have something to aspire to.

Roughing it in the British countryside | Tent-free camping | Jim Bannister | 21:51

Just discovered this guy’s channel, he seems to be doing well in term of subs, it’s been going up. I like his videos although I hate camping and not really fit enough to go walking, but I do love the English countryside and forests, so this was a nice video to watch.

Hiking 100 Miles Across England’s Lake District | Liam Brown | 36:03

Some lovely shots in this video. Last time I was in the Lake District wasn’t so nice.

And that is quite enough I think, I have added way too many videos to this article, I’m sorry if your PC or phone can’t load it according to Chrome, this page is using 1GB of RAM according to my Chrome! Next I’ll make a shorter list. Anyway, that’s just some of the videos I’ve been watching over the past few weeks, I probably shouldn’t make this too frequent a thing as it would get a bit boring, but yeah, more videos coming soon, I’ll try and only pick the best ones next time!
