What I've been Watching on YouTube - Feb/Mar 2026

Hey guys, as you may know, I watch a lot of YouTube videos, so I think I’m going to start making a note of some the videos I’ve been watching over the past couple of months and linking them in a blog post, just in case this is of any interest to anyone.

Winter has arrived | Nelferch | 15:44

I have only just discovered this channel, her videos are beautifully shot, edited and graded, I am obsessed. I really want to be able to make videos like this… not prancing around half-naked in the cold, obviously - I mean shooting and editing in this style. Beautiful, give it a watch!

The Linux Experience - Omarchy | Bog | 37:07

Bog attempts to install and configure Omarchy Linux, this distro looks very cool, I may have to take a closer look at this, although I don’t like how it takes over the entire drive it runs on and you need to disable TPM/SecureBoot to use it. It’s based on Arch Linux, BTW.

☀️SUN CULT CITY☀️Milton Keynes | swilliamism | 27:31

swilliamism goes on a tour of Milton Keynes highlighting all the occult symbology in the buildings there. I don’t really believe in all the stuff this guy seems to believe, but I am quite interested in the occult/conspiracy theories/freemasonry, that kind of stuff.

How I installed the HARDEST operating system | Bog | 34:39

Bog shows how to install Arch Linux, well struggles is more appropriate!

We visited Britain’s fakest town | Luke O’Sullivan & CityEd | 20:21

A look at Poundbury in Dorset, designed by Prince/King Charles. We need to build new towns across the UK like Poundbury, nice looking places where people actually want to live!

Gearing Up for a New Adventure | Boss Rush #1 | Duncan | 29:02

Duncan, Simon, Harry & Osie start a new Minecraft series, think this means the Jaffa Factory 2 series is over.

My Consumer Unit Secrets 🤫 How to Install a Consumer Unit/Fuse Box in 2026 | Artisan Electrics | 1:08:31

Jordan from Artisan Electrics shows the proper way to replace & install a consumer unit. Know-it-alls in the comments having a field day with this one of course.

Am I better than AI at pinpointing the exact location of random aeroplane window photos? | GeoWizard | 29:14

Tom AKA GeoWizard manages to pinpoint where photographs shot from out of plane windows were taken. This guy’s a genius.

My Summer Car - Race To The Finnish | Many A True Nerd | 39:42

Jon returns to MSC 10 years after his first video. I wonder why he didn’t do a video on My Winter Car? Anyway, as I predicted he gets nothing done and manages to burn the house down.

Finally! A Home Upgrade That Makes Sense (E-Ink Display) | GreatScott! | 11:24

Scott builds a smarthome calendar using a large E-Ink display. Love how deep he drilled into his wall to hide that power supply, would like to do some projects like this and using E-ink displays.

Building a project to allow you to use a Firestick on a vintage TV.

I made ink from this burned tree | Nelferch | 22:56

Nelferch makes ink from the insides of a lightning-struck tree! Last video of hers on this list, I swear…

The Queen’s Nose Is… NOT How I Remember It | RoseTintedSpectrum | 44:11

Anyone remember The Queen’s Nose? It was on CBBC in the 90s… or was it the early 2000s? Anyway, I was reminded of it after clicking this video. Annoying middle class families like this aren’t represented much on TV any more. Shame!

How to Survive the First Night in Hytale (OFFICIAL) | Yogscast & Duncan | 22:44

The Yogs survive the first night in Hytale, a game that has been in development hell since the dawn of time.

HomeGrown Devlog: Working towards release! | ThinMatrix | 21:17

I love this guy’s develog videos, specifically his setup and room. I would love to have my own big room with PCs, a big desk, somewhere to do electronics. I think this guy is from the UK, but lives in Germany. I’d love my own place in the Netherlands.

Exploring 1000 Years of BRITISH ROYALTY Final Resting Places | Neil Hurst | 48:08

Neil Hurst visits the graves of several English & British monarchs, very interesting love this sort of video!

Well, I think that’s enough, I will be compiling another list of selected videos over the next couple of months, look out for it on CEDUK!
