Hello, it’s been a while, hasn’t it? Just another update post. I have recently bought a Canon R50 mirrorless digital camera, I’ll put that in a separate post!

YouTube news! My 2023 playthrough of FTB Infinity came to an end after 27 episodes. I wish I could dedicate more time to it, but it took so much off-screen preparation and having to just AFK so things could run like quarries or chargers. I could of course have cheated everything in, but I’m proud to say I didn’t cheat at all throughout the series.

I would like to return to modded Minecraft on the channel in the near future, I have a short list of Minecraft modpacks I’d like to play, including some Gregtech modpacks like Gregtech: New Horizons, speaking of which I have been watching Sampsa’s awesome server playthrough of the pack, the guy seems to be a god of GT:NH and his game looks pretty awesome with those shaders. I have tried getting shaders to work, but they just don’t seem to work on my PC, I only ever get a weird dark red effect. Maybe I’m doing something wrong.

I passed 250 subs and 50K views in late 2023 on the gaming channel, thank you so much to everyone who has subscribed, watched my vids and liked the videos, also a big thanks to those who left lovely comments, I really appreciate it! Onwards to 500 subscribers! I think a channel rebrand is in order, I want to design a new banner image, my current one isn’t great.

I’m still looking forward to the new Grim Dawn DLC - Fangs of Asterkarn, I might record me trying it out for the channel, might be fun.

The World of Warcraft paladin playthrough is still going strong, I’m recording Ep 80 this week. I’ve just finished Tanaris and am onto Thousand Needles now, although I’m thinking maybe I should get Stonetalon, Desolace & Feralas out of the way first. Still got quite a few zones in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms to go, I think it’ll be like Ep 150 by the time we finally get started in The Burning Crusade! Episode 75 releases this Friday.

Shure have brought out a new variant of the SM7B - the SM7dB, it’s basically the same microphone but with a built in pre-amp. I am thinking of getting one maybe once I have a new PC. I will also need the audio interface, of course.
