Random thoughts - December 8th 2018
This weekend has probably been one of the most stressful and unpleasant in at least my last twenty years. I have moved from the address I have occupied since 2002 to a somewhat smaller but cheaper semi-detached very close by. Some of the doors don’t close, a light doesn’t work and the electric shower is annoying. It’s not perfect but it’s cosy and more importantly than anything - it’s in Sale!
I am physically and emotionally exhausted from the move, every joint and muscle aches from helping to move over furniture and belongings. Thank goodness the end is in sight and I can finally begin to relax and get back to normal.
I have been playing quite a bit of Diablo 3 recently, levelling my Whirlwind Barbarian’s paragon points. He’s now surpassed my normal (non-seasonal) paragon level and I have been pushing and pushing my greater rift levels with this character, for the next season (16) I have the hard decision of whether to stay as a barbarian or go crusader. Season 15 of Diablo 3 end on the 6th of January 2019 and season 16 begins on the 11th.
I also look forward to having the time to work on Chriselison.uk. Lately I’ve been contemplating learning the CSS Grid system and somehow employing it on this website. I want a beautiful, minimalist (in terms of page weight and design) site that looks beautiful, but also provides information as clearly and accessible as possible. I also want to work on updating my about page and adding some extra information.
